Rue Avenue isn’t just another activewear label — it’s a rethink of the way we design, wear, and value the clothes that move with us.
Founded by Danni in February 2025 after two years of development, Rue Avenue was created as an intentional alternative to the mass-produced, trend-chasing giants of the activewear industry.
When Danni saw first-hand the shortcuts, the inflated margins, the questionable sustainability claims, and the lack of genuine connection with the people wearing their clothes, She decided Rue Avenue would be different.
Every piece we make is designed here in Aotearoa New Zealand, in collaboration with experts who bring over 30 years of Activewear Design experience.
We create in small, conscious runs — using premium recycled fabrics that deliver performance without compromise. No greenwashing. No empty promises. Just sustainability in every stitch.
But Rue Avenue isn’t only about what we make — it’s about who we make it for. At the heart of our brand is The Avenue, a growing community of women who come together through movement.
Whether it’s yoga at sunrise, a run along the waterfront, boxing sessions, or weekend coffee catch-ups, The Avenue is where connection and confidence are built.

Please note that for Non-Signature Required parcels, you have authorised the courier to leave the parcel in your letterbox or a location deemed safe by the courier at time of delivery.
Return Policy:
At Rue Avenue, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not fully delighted with your Rue product, you have the option to return it within 30 days from the date of delivery. We offer two alternatives for returns: a store credit or an exchange.
Please take note of the following guidelines for returns:
- The items must be in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and free from makeup.
- All labels and tags must remain attached to the product.
- For hygienic purposes, we are unable to accept returns on underwear, socks, and accessories.
- Kindly be aware that Rue Avenue does not provide refunds at this time.
We do not offer free returns at this stage. However, the cheapest way you can get your items to us is by sending your package back in the same bag it came with. This will save you money, and will be better for the environment!
Note that shipping fees cover the shipping and handling costs for your initial order and are non-refundable in the case of a return.
Lastly, please be aware that sale items are not eligible for return.
